High Flying Circus at Callaway Gardens

If you read my blog very much you know that one our favorite places is Callaway Gardens about 30 miles north of Columbus.   We have a year round pass and go up for most of their events.   We usually go up on the 4th of July for the beach party at Callaway which includes dancing on the beach to the Swinging Medallions and Fireworks.  

Also on the beach is the High Flying Circus under the tent at the pavillion.    This year they added a set up on the beach where they give lessons.   Donna and I decided to try the trapeze.  I am not really big on heights so you can imagine that this was hard for me but it was worth the effort.   It is not very often that you get a chance to swing on a real flying trapeze and the showmen at the High Flying Circus set it up so that it was perfectly safe.
